Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a background in front desk or reception work with strong communication skills and computer proficiency.

Understanding of insurance authorizations is preferred. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with medical front office

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service or related experience preferred.
• Experience in a receptionist role or medical front office procedures preferred.
• Must have or be eligible for a valid driver's license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk and provide wait time information.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance details at check-in; handle walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays, and coinsurance at the front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments, including casts, measurements, delivery, and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as a liaison for clinic services and information on patient experience programs.
• Coordinate with RCM team to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records for all patients.
