Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 1 year of full-time experience in patient registration, scheduling, or insurance verification.
• Alternative: HS diploma with completion of a Roswell Park Patient Access Representative traineeship.
• Degrees must be conferred by an accredited institution per Roswell Park standards.

Responsibilities

• Guide patients through accessing care at Roswell Park.
• Coordinate new and returning patient appointments, testing, and admissions.
• Gather and review information for intake and care planning.
• Collaborate with referring providers and internal clinical teams to coordinate care.
• Facilitate communication among patients, caregivers, and disease-site teams.
• Help patients navigate insurance requirements and obtain financial clearance.
• Ensure records and information are collected and maintained accurately.
