AdaptHealth, LLC is seeking an Intake Specialist to coordinate referrals, review clinical documentation, and ensure services are set up accurately and efficiently. You will work with patients, providers, referral sources, and internal teams to navigate insurance requirements and confirm eligibility.

This role suits detail-oriented individuals who enjoy patient communication and cross-team collaboration in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• One year of relatable work experience required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required; an Associate’s degree preferred.
• Healthcare admin, business admin or related experience is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine eligibility prior to service delivery.
• Communicate with patients about financial responsibility and document interactions accurately.
• Request missing documentation and provide options to support timely care.
• Coordinate with referral sources, physicians and clinical teams for complete documentation.
• Maintain accurate patient information in electronic systems and meet productivity standards.
• Enter referrals within established timeframes and coordinate with inventory and service scheduling.
