AdaptHealth LLC in the United States is seeking an Intake Specialist to support patient access to care by coordinating referrals, reviewing clinical documentation, and ensuring services are set up accurately and efficiently.

You will work with patients, providers, and internal teams to navigate insurance requirements, confirm eligibility, and move intake forward smoothly, in a detail-oriented, fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of relatable work experience is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; an Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience in management, administrative, clerical, insurance, billing, claims, call center, or customer service is a plus.
• Experience within a healthcare organization or Medicare-certified environment is beneficial but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Review medical records and payer guidelines to determine patient eligibility and compliance prior to service delivery.
• Communicate with patients regarding financial responsibility and document interactions accurately.
• Coordinate with referral sources, physicians, and clinical teams to obtain complete documentation.
• Enter referrals within established timeframes while meeting productivity and quality standards.
• Navigate payer requirements to ensure services are provided appropriately and in compliance.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using electronic systems.
