You will handle patient registration, appointments, greeting visitors, verify documentation, enter data in the Electronic Health Record, and assist with billing using ICD-10/CPT codes.

Responsibilities

• Patient registration and appointment scheduling.
• Greet visitors and handle phone inquiries.
• Verify identity/insurance/income documentation.
• Prepare and maintain charts.
• Enter/update data in Electronic Health Record.
• Use medical terminology plus ICD-10/CPT codes for billing.
• Process medical-record requests.
• Handle TennCare authorizations and Tennessee Child Health Records.
• Balance a cash drawer and collect fees.
• Support WIC and immunization documentation.
• Maintain supplies, files, and a clean, secure workspace.
