Job summary

MIAMI VALLEY HOSPITAL SOUTH is seeking a Manager of Patient Access Services to lead the registration and revenue cycle processes for a 24/7 operation. Responsibilities include coordinating between physician offices, ancillary departments, and patients, ensuring accurate ABNs and MSPs, and directing staff across multiple areas with a focus on regulatory compliance and financial risk management.

The role requires an Associate degree with HFMA CRCR within one year, and 3–5 years of revenue cycle

Qualifications

• Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree.
• HFMA CRCR within one year of role.
• 3-5 years of revenue cycle leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of health EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee coordination between physician offices, ancillary departments and patients related to the registration processes.
• Ensure timely collection of demographic, financial, and regulatory information to assess the hospital's financial and compliance risk.
• Ensure accuracy of physician orders, ABNs and MSP to maintain regulatory and payer compliance (AR and Bad Debt).
• Generate statistical data, monitor departmental budget, and prepare policy/procedure manuals.
