Job summary

Three Crosses Regional Hospital is seeking a Patient Access Manager to lead 24/7 front-end revenue cycle operations, including registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and admissions.

You will coach staff, monitor KPIs, collaborate with clinical teams, ensure compliance, and drive improvements to patient experience and operational efficiency. This role emphasizes staffing, training, and continuous process improvements in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of leadership experience in healthcare.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Patient Access staff.
• Manage staffing schedules and coverage.
• Oversee registration, scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, and admissions.
• Monitor department reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow, accuracy, efficiency, and patient experience.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, payer requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.
• New Hire orientation, training, competency assessments, and ongoing education within the Patient Access department.
• Collaborate with clinical departments, physician offices, clinics, and other hospital departments.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and system implementations or enhancements.
• Assist with departmental budget management and operational planning.
