Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to mentor and guide staff in daily workflows, patient registrations, and effective issue resolution. The role includes assisting in planning across Registration areas, enforcing policies, and supporting the management team to meet operational goals.

Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience in a healthcare setting, strong leadership and communication skills, and familiarity with revenue cycle processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in a medical facility, health insurance, or related area.
• 5+ years of experience in Patient Access preferred.
• 2+ years in supervisory or lead role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support, mentoring, and training to new hires and existing staff.
• Assist in planning for Registration Process areas including Admitting, Scheduling, ED, and clinics.
• Maintain positive customer service and resolve issues.
• Enforce department policies and assist in implementing new policies.
• Monitor daily activity and produce performance and metric reports.
• Perform all Patient Access functions as needed.
• Support the management team to achieve operational goals.
