Job summary

Qualifications

• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred
• Some college coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, register at date of service, explain and secure hospital forms and policies.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and collect payments per policy.
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and coordinate post-discharge care as needed.
