Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides daily support/mentoring/training to new hires and existing Patient Access staff.
• Assists in planning for short and long range needs for Registration processes including Admitting, Centralized Scheduling, ED, and offsite clinics.
• Maintains positive customer service and helps staff resolve issues.
• Enforces departmental policies and assists in implementing new hospital policies.
• Monitors daily activity and prepares performance and metric reports; can handle special projects.
• Performs all Patient Access functions as needed.
• Acts with the management team to meet operational goals.
