Job summary

AVALA is seeking a Lead Registration professional to coordinate the registration staff across multiple areas, ensuring efficient patient access and accurate demographic and insurance data. The role emphasizes enforcing policies, supervising staff, and maintaining high patient experience standards.

The Lead will monitor data quality, oversee authorizations, and train teams to reduce errors while aligning with facility procedures and patient satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years or more experience in a relevant role or setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge and comfortable with workflow systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise Registration staff across multiple areas to keep wait times down.
• Participate in cross-training to support multiple functions and ensure annual mandatory training is completed.
• Monitor data entry accuracy of demographic and insurance information; investigate errors and implement fixes.
• Track common issues and train staff to prevent recurrence; report significant issues to the Manager.
• Assist with quality audits and routine reviews to identify root causes and improve processes.
• Follow up on patient complaints promptly and notify Manager as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support patient access and overall workflow.
