Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years in patient access or healthcare administration with 2–3 years in a management role.
• Strong knowledge of insurance verification processes and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with ability to foster a collaborative team.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and patient access software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Patient Access team, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
• Oversee registration and scheduling to ensure accurate patient information collection.
• Ensure compliance with insurance verification procedures and address issues with providers or patients.
• Collaborate with clinical departments to streamline patient flow and improve efficiency.
• Monitor KPIs, identify improvement opportunities, and implement enhancements.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for patient access operations.
• Address patient inquiries and provide high-level customer service.
