VCU Health is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to oversee registration and scheduling operations across assigned locations, ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate insurance verification, and compliant billing processes.

The role leads a team of registration and scheduling staff, optimizes workload distribution, and collaborates with other departments to maintain high standards of patient service and compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• Two years of patient scheduling/registration experience in a healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance, managed care, electronic billing/registration systems, appointment scheduling, and medical coding requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and email/calendaring.

Responsabilités

• Supervises registration and scheduling staff and daily operations.
• Coordinates and delegates daily work assignments.
• Monitors workflow and implements changes to improve patient services and staff productivity.
• Serves as liaison with other departments.
• Identifies and implements process changes to improve patient services.
• May access medications and related supplies as needed.
