Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Patient Access Supervisor to lead the daily operations of the Registration department, coordinating staff activities to ensure fast, accurate service for patients.

You will direct prior authorization and scheduling processes, monitor performance, and drive process improvements while maintaining a patient-centered environment and high patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 1–3 years of related work experience.
• Three years of work experience in the discipline.

Responsibilities

• Researches inquiries, complaints and requests and resolves errors or issues.
• Monitors budget to control overtime and informs management of issues with potential budget impact.
• Schedules, audits and evaluates staff in financial counseling, insurance verification, referrals, training.
• Interviews candidates, orients employees, approves timecards, and communicates performance standards.
• Identifies opportunities for performance improvement and implements staff training.
