Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus in Arizona seeks a Patient Access professional to perform full patient registration, financial counseling, and coordination of hospital services. You will analyze ADT and revenue cycle reports, and lead shift operations across patient access.

The role requires handling insurance verifications, authorizations, and coordination with care teams in a fast-paced hospital setting. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4 years experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area.
• 2+ years in Patient Access preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, complete full registration, and secure hospital & patient legal forms (Advance Directives, etc.).
• Provide full patient financial counseling, education & referrals, and complete liability collection steps per policy.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage & eligibility, obtain authorizations, and secure inpatient visit notifications for payors.
• Analyze ADT, Revenue Cycle Reports, lead shift Patient Access Operations, and collaborate with department leaders.
