Job summary

Conifer Health is seeking a Patient Access professional to support registration and scheduling at Abrazo Arrowhead Campus. You will gather complete patient demographics, explain financial responsibilities, and ensure compliant payment collection.

The role requires handling insurance verification, benefits checks, and authorization processes while coordinating post-discharge planning as needed. Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm.
• Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of PC/CRT/printer.
• Knowledge of function and relationships within a hospital environment preferred.
• Customer service skills and experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to receive and express detailed information through oral and written communications.
• Understanding of Third Party Payor requirements preferred.
• Understanding of Compliance standards preferred.
• Must be able to perform essential job duties in at least two Patient Access service areas including Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete full patient registration at date of service.
• Explain and secure Hospital and patient legal forms (Advance Directives, etc.).
• Scan Protected Health Information and organize patient packets.
