Intuitive Health is seeking a Lead Patient Access Advocate to oversee registration operations at our Oklahoma City location. The role focuses on driving team performance, streamlining daily processes, and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients and staff.

You will lead scheduling, staff mentoring, and daily reconciliations while ensuring compliance with department policies and patient experience standards. Strong leadership and multitasking are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a Patient Access team.
• Strong knowledge of patient registration processes and payer benefits.

Responsibilities

• Model patient experience expectations and ensure the team adheres to them.
• Drive Patient Access metrics (callbacks, bed placement, NPS, etc.).
• Maintain a friendly, professional Patient Access environment.
• Verify benefits, check patients in/out, and collect copayments/deductibles.
• Create and maintain the Patient Access schedule for the location.
• Cover voids when coverage is unavailable.
• Train and mentor new Patient Access staff.
• Assist leadership with interviewing candidates and onboarding.
• Reconcile cash, card receipts, petty cash, and deposits daily.
• Reconcile ED acknowledgment forms and related records.
• Lead quarterly Patient Access staff meetings.
• Work during downtimes and ensure patient data integrity.
