Qualifications

• 4 years of Patient Access operations experience (scheduling/registration/insurance).
• Experience with medical terminology, basic ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs and admission/discharge/transfer or billing/claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the patient access area to ensure efficient service for ancillary, diagnostic, surgical and emergency services.
• Oversee scheduling, demographic verification, consent processing and documentation to support accurate patient access.
• Manage eligibility, insurance verification, patient portion calculation and authorization activities.
• Provide training and guidance to team members and assist with interviewing and onboarding.
