Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with coverage questions and office protocols.
• Verify and update demographics and insurance.
• Register new patients.
• Handle receivables and daily deposits.
• Ensure compliance with department, regulatory and safety standards for POC activities.
• Assist in implementation and validation of new lab equipment; coordinate staff training with vendors.
• Provide technical guidance to laboratory staff and participate in complex tasks to troubleshoot issues and determine quality control measures.
• Conduct competency assessments by task or procedure and document with a standard evaluation tool.
