Job summary

Option Care Health in Austin, TX is seeking a Patient Access / Patient Registration Specialist to coordinate referrals, intake documentation, and cross-functional communication, ensuring a seamless transition into infusion care.

You will work with referral sources, sales, pharmacy, nursing, and internal teams to secure timely access to therapy, handle upfront patient payments, and support claim follow-up.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management.
