Job summary

Option Care Health in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Patient Access / Patient Registration Specialist who coordinates referrals, intake documentation, and cross-functional communication to ensure seamless entry into infusion care.

You will partner with referral sources, sales, pharmacy, nursing, and internal teams to deliver timely access to therapy, manage upfront payments, and maintain a high-quality patient experience in a remote role limited to Pacific or Mountain time zones.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience required.
• Ability to multi-task and support numerous referrals/priorities.
• Fast-paced environment experience.
• Detail-oriented with a high quality focus.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to trouble shoot and collaborate with cross-functional team members across sales and operation functions.

Responsibilities

• Engages with patient, referral source, sales, pharmacy, and nursing to coordinate discharge and secure nursing and delivery.
• Creates, communicates and obtains all required documentation for new referrals.
• Secures patient's upfront payment including assisting patients to find avenues for payment where needed (identifies opportunities and directs patient to financial assistance program).
• Supports the ongoing activities needed to ensure clean claims on hold and denial management (follow-up on paperwork where missing).
• Assist Supervisor and Manager with special assignments as needed.
