NTO Physician Partners PLLC is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, gathering demographics, verifying insurance, and scheduling appointments. You will coordinate with providers, insurers, and patients to ensure accurate data collection for billing and insurance purposes.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• CHAA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in healthcare setting, especially patient registration or insurance verification, is preferred.
• Experience with EHR and scheduling software is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and verify personal, financial, and insurance information for accuracy.
• Input demographic and insurance details into the EHR system.
• Ensure all forms are completed accurately and timely.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility before appointments or procedures.
• Obtain prior authorization for procedures as required by insurers.
• Resolve discrepancies in insurance information with patients or insurers.
• Schedule patient appointments based on physician availability and patient needs.
• Provide pre-appointment instructions and information to patients.
• Inform patients about co-pays, deductibles, and insurance benefits.
• Assist patients with payment options and payment plans.
• Act as liaison between patients, providers, and insurers.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality.
