Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of customer service or financial-related work experience.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to use PC-based productivity tools (Outlook, Excel) in an office setting.

Responsibilities

• Pre-registers patients and financially clears patients for services.
• Verify insurance information, create estimates, demographic and eligibility data.
• Educate patients on insurance benefits, financial liability and estimates.
• Communicate clearly to secure patient liability ahead of service.
• Handle inquiries with a focus on a positive patient experience and no-surprise billing guidance.
