Job summary

Banner Imaging in Sun City West, AZ is seeking a Patient Access Services Representative to greet patients, verify insurance, pre-register, and schedule appointments. You will collect co-pays and assist with financial aspects of care in a fast-paced setting.

You’ll work with the billing team, try to maximize reimbursement, process authorizations, and support patients with Medicaid and other financial assistance programs while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in patient financial services or medical billing preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and perform pre-registration.
• Obtain authorizations and input data accurately into the system.
• Collect payments and assist with financial counseling and Medicaid applications.
• Coordinate with billing, payors, and clinicians to resolve issues.
• Meet productivity targets and maintain accurate documentation.
