Resurgens Orthopaedics seeks a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients, collecting accurate information, verifying coverage, and scheduling visits. You will work closely with providers, insurers, and patients to ensure financial clearance and a smooth registration process.

Formación

• Certification in Patient Access is preferred but not required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient registration, insurance verification, or customer service, is preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and scheduling software is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and verify personal, financial, and insurance information for accuracy.
• Collect and input demographic and insurance details into the EHR system.
• Ensure all forms are completed accurately and on time.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility before appointments or procedures.
• Obtain prior authorization for procedures or services as required by insurers.
• Resolve discrepancies in insurance or coverage information with patients or insurers.
• Schedule patient appointments based on physician availability and patient needs.
• Inform patients about co-pays, deductibles, and insurance benefits before service delivery.
• Assist patients with payment options and setting up payment plans as necessary.
• Act as a liaison between patients, providers, and insurers.
