Job summary

Resurgens Orthopaedics is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, collect accurate demographic and insurance data, and verify coverage to support efficient registration and scheduling.

You will work with providers and insurers to document information for billing, set appointments, explain financial responsibilities, and ensure a positive patient experience while upholding HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Certification in Patient Access (CHAA) preferred
• Experience in patient registration or insurance verification
• Experience with EHR and scheduling software

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and verify demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Input patient data into the EHR system and ensure forms are complete.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility; obtain prior authorization when needed.
• Schedule appointments and communicate pre-appointment instructions.
• Explain co-pays, deductibles, and financial responsibilities to patients.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and coordinate with care teams
