Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to join our care-first outpatient practice. You will greet patients, schedule appointments, collect patient balances, and help with insurance authorizations and referrals in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

The role requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant credential preferred.
• Experience as a medical receptionist or administrative assistant in healthcare.
• Strong organization and time management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer questions and provide directions as needed.
• Field calls using the general office line.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments using medical software.
• Register new patients and maintain accurate records.
• Distribute forms to ensure complete information.
• Daily collection of patient financial responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete and track authorizations, verifications, and referrals.
• Knowledge of Workers’ Compensation and Auto claim submissions.
• Perform other duties as required.
