Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create the initial electronic health record used across the care team.
• Check in and register patients, collect demographic and insurance details.
• Explain financial responsibilities and refer patients to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Follow HIPAA rules and privacy policies.
• Schedule appointments and provide test prep and arrival instructions.
• Deliver welcoming, professional customer service and assist with transportation or interpreter needs.
• Monitor electronic health record work queues per department procedures.
