Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with patient registration is preferred.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to use a computer and enter demographic and insurance information accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous, calm, and helpful patient interactions at all times.
• Input correct patient demographic and insurance information per HIPAA guidelines.
• Assist with switchboard/ER greeter and mail room duties as needed.
• Direct patients to appropriate departments and maintain confidentiality.
• Use Cash Tracker for co-payments and process payments.
• Provide language line assistance for non-English speakers.
