You will register patients, verify benefits, discuss financial responsibilities, and collect co-pays while maintaining precise records. This role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a patient-first approach, with opportunities for team growth.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology is important.
• Proficient computer and data entry skills are necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

• Welcome patients in person and by phone with a warm, professional demeanor.
• Register patients by collecting accurate demographic, insurance, and visit information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and patient benefits prior to appointments.
• Pre-register patients and clearly explain insurance coverage and financial responsibilities.
• Calculate patient responsibility estimates and collect co-pays at the point of service.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
• Utilize registration software to support efficient office operations.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
• Complete ongoing education as required and support team with administrative duties.
