Job summary

Responsibilities

• Registers patient in a timely and accurate manner, obtaining demographic and accurate insurance information.
• Directs patients, answers the phone, and handles inquiries.
• Ensures eligibility, Medicare compliance and benefits are properly verified prior to visit.
• Establishes patient portion due estimates and performs point of service collections activities.
• Pre-registers patients and discusses benefits with patient.
• Maintains all patient visit information within the system and ensures accuracy.
