Job summary

SimonMed Imaging is seeking a Patient Service Specialist to be the first point of care, guiding patients through admission with accuracy, compassion, and confidence at our imaging centers. You will greet patients, verify insurance, and process documentation to ensure every visit starts with clarity and smooth flow.

You’ll support front desk operations in a fast-paced, collaborative healthcare team and help resolve scheduling and registration issues while maintaining a positive patient

Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer service, patient access, medical office, or call center experience preferred
• Experience with scheduling, insurance verification, or healthcare registration processes preferred
• Strong computer and data entry skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working with EMR/PM systems preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact, greeting patients and guiding them through admission with care.
• Verify insurance and process necessary documentation to start each visit smoothly.
• Support front desk operations and resolve scheduling or registration issues.
• Maintain patient demographics, histories, and payments with accuracy.
• Communicate professionally with patients and healthcare teams to ensure a positive experience.
