• Ability to handle high-stress environment with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and manages flow for efficient service.
• Verifies demographic and insurance information is complete and accurate.
• Registers walk-in patients and updates demographic/insurance data as needed.
• Verifies insurance benefits and collects patient liability.
• Follows Financial Clearance policy when needed.
• Identifies patients needing financial assistance and refers to Financial Counselor.
• Performs visit closure and schedules follow-ups.
• Familiar with payer requirements and pre-authorization policies.
• Communicates issues to management for process improvements.
• Meets productivity and accuracy targets.
