Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years of relevant patient service experience or an Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree with required experience.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service and resolving conflicts is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-first experience for patients and visitors.
• Assist patients with phone triage, registration, insurance eligibility and co-pay collection.
• Capture and verify referrals, insurance coverage and physician data.
• Explain patient service estimates and coordinate financial counseling as needed.
• Perform patient registration, scheduling, check-in/out, and interpreter services scheduling.
• Promote use of MyChart and Appointment Pass to patients and educate them on digital tools.
• Maintain accuracy of patient records and communicate with care teams as required.
• Possibly travel regionally to support patient care in various Cleveland Clinic locations.
