Advocate Health is seeking a detail-oriented Registration Clerk to support patient intake in a fast-paced environment in North Carolina. You will verify demographics, collect co-pays, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering excellent customer service to patients and families.

Responsibilities include registering patients, guiding them through test preparations, and coordinating with the care team to ensure accurate records and smooth scheduling. EPIC EMR proficiency recommended.

Formación

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and patient privacy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

Responsabilidades

• Register and check in patients; obtain demographics and insurance information.
• Discuss and collect co-pays and out-of-pocket responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and related regulations.
• Explain test preparations and arrival times; provide directions and scheduling info.
• Greet patients and coordinate with care teams to facilitate patient flow.
