Aurora Health Care is seeking a Patient Access Registrar to register patients, verify demographics and insurance, and collect co-pays at our Wisconsin facilities. You will support a smooth front-desk workflow, maintain HIPAA compliance, and provide excellent service to patients and visitors.

The role requires strong communication, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to manage high-volume daily tasks in a fast-paced setting. Experience with EPIC EMR is a plus.

Competenze

• High School Graduate.
• Experience not required but helpful.
• Must adhere to HIPAA and protect patient information.
• Able to handle high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with insurance plans and billing basics.

Mansioni

• Register patients and collect demographic, guarantor, and insurance information.
• Explain financial responsibilities, collect co-pays, and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA and other regulations.
• Answer phones, greet patients, and direct them as needed.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate logistics for tests and visits.
• Monitor electronic health record work queues per department procedures.
