Advocate Health in Mequon, WI seeks an administrative healthcare team member to support patient flow and revenue cycle. You will create and maintain the patient electronic health record, verify demographics and insurance, collect co-pays, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires strong data-entry, communication, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Formación

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; no licensure required.
• Experience with HIPAA and patient data confidentiality is important.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service skills are needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with interruptions.

Responsabilidades

• Create the initial electronic health record foundation for patients.
• Check in/register patients; verify demographics and insurance.
• Discuss and collect co-pays and patient financial responsibilities.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and secure handling of information.
• Assist with scheduling, test prep guidance, and follow-up reminders.
• Greet patients, answer calls, and provide courteous information.
• Handle basic payments and coordinate with HIM/clinical teams as needed.
