• Creates the initial electronic health record foundational to the patient medical record.
• Prevents duplicate records to ensure patient safety and accurate billing.
• Registers patients, verifies demographics and insurance, collects co-pays.
• Maintains confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Educates patients on insurance coverage and coordinates referrals to Financial Advocates.
• Handles scheduling, test preparations, and patient portal assistance.
• Provides excellent customer service and collaborates with clinical staff.
