Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years scheduling experience in a healthcare setting required.
• 5+ years related healthcare experience preferred; database maintenance preferred.
• Excellent telephone and written communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Epic and patient demographics, insurance verification.

Responsibilities

• Answer referral calls from physicians and families and process scheduling requests.
• Complete intake with family to gather patient demographics and insurance information.
• Coordinate with resources to schedule appointments, procedures, and complex care.
• Inform referring physician and family about next steps for visits.
• Coordinate scheduling with access schedulers per guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service to providers, staff, families, and patients.
