Job summary

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with enrolling and using MyChart.
• Enter and verify patient demographic, insurance, and financial information.
• Communicate information to care team.
• Contact insurers regarding coverage or billing issues as needed.
• Collect copays, coinsurance, or balances.
• Assist with completing forms and paperwork.
• Utilize EPIC workqueues and inbasket messages.
• Schedule referrals and follow-up visits.
• Scan documents accurately into EPIC.
• Maintain organized work area.
