Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in patient access or registration preferred
• Strong customer-service orientation
• Ability to handle PHI securely and adhere to policies

Responsibilities

• Check patients in and out for medical visits
• Answer phones and schedule appointments
• Assist patients with MyChart enrollment and use
• Enter and validate patient demographics, insurance and financial data
• Communicate with care team and coordinate referrals
• Process patient payments for copays and balances
• Support documentation and scanning in EPIC
• Cross-train to support other duties as assigned
