Job summary

CenterWell is seeking a Front Office Healthcare Support professional to deliver a safe, accurate, and welcoming patient experience from pre-arrival through checkout. You will verify patient identity and insurance, manage the front door for clinical flow, and collect co-pays at the point of service.

The role involves on-site work, coordinating with Clinical teams, managing schedules, and ensuring high provider throughput while maintaining excellent patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer systems and scheduling tools
• Ability to verify patient identity and insurance coverage accurately
• Experience handling patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism

Responsibilities

• Pre-Visit Preparation: review schedules 24–48 hours in advance to identify missing documents and gaps.
• Digital-First Intake: facilitate patient check-in using digital tools and capture demographics and consents.
• Queue & Wait-Time Management: monitor waiting areas and EMR task queues; communicate delays to patients and staff; handle POS collections with integrity.
• Exit & Outreach: conduct checkout, schedule follow-ups, and manage outreach for no-shows or preventive care appointments.
