Job summary

Humana's CenterWell Senior Primary Care is seeking a Front Office Healthcare Support professional to ensure a safe, accurate and welcoming patient experience from pre-arrival through checkout. The Patient Access Coordinator will verify data, manage the front door, and support revenue integrity while guiding patients through the clinic workflow.

In this onsite role, you will handle pre-visit prep, digital intake, queue management, POS collections, and outbound follow-ups.

Qualifications

• Data verification of patients and insurance for accuracy.
• Ability to manage front-desk workflow with empathy.
• Proficient in handling scheduling and check-in tasks.
• Strong communication with patients and clinical staff.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Visit Preparation: review schedules 24–48 hours ahead.
• Digital-First Intake: assist patient check-in with demographics and consents.
• Queue & Wait-Time Management: monitor queues and communicate delays.
• Point-of-Service Collections: discuss financial responsibility and process payments.
• Exit & Outreach: schedule follow-ups and outreach for no-shows.
