Stormont Vail Health seeks a part-time Registration Clerk to greet patients and guests, collect visit information, and perform efficient check-in functions. You will handle demographic and insurance data, obtain signatures, and initiate financial discussions with patients.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of customer service experience; healthcare setting is preferred. On-site work with strict privacy standards and a patient-facing environment.

Qualificações

• 1 year experience in customer service.
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
• Register patients with demographic, insurance and visit information.
• Complete check-in and admission functions for the service area.
• Conduct financial discussions including patient estimates and payments.
• Validate patient identity and apply safety armbands.
• Assist with state-required documentation and data entry.
• Answer department phones and direct callers as needed.
• Provide needed handouts and explain procedures to patients.
• Perform basic real-time eligibility verification.
• Escort patients to treatment areas and complete clerical duties.
• Follow confidentiality policies and comply with Stormont Vail guidelines.
