Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of customer service or medical office experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer data-entry/typing.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and schedule appointments.
• Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information.
• Respond to questions and concerns and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Use Epic and other systems to verify eligibility and print orders.
• Collaborate with hospital departments to direct patients through NMHC systems.
• Assist in training and support for scheduling staff and cross-training.
• Ensure data accuracy and support quality metrics.
