Corewell Health is seeking a Part-time Patient Access/Concierge focused on assisting patients, providers and staff with navigating services and resolving inquiries. The role emphasizes delivering an exceptional experience via calls, chat, and email, aligned with established guidelines.

The position involves greeting patients, scheduling, registrations, and medical record maintenance in EPIC, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and service quality. Weekend-free schedule supports work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred: 1 year of relevant experience in insurance billing, access management, patient financial services, electronic health records, lab service support or other related fields.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients or visitors and serves as a concierge.
• Answers practice phone calls, schedules patient appointments, orders supplies, and handles mail/supplies.
• Verifies patient demographics and insurance; assists with self-registration and arrival; schedules follow-up appointments.
• Maintains patient medical records and uploads documents into EPIC; basic EMR/EHR scanning.
• Participates in safety initiatives and completes required competencies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
