Intuitive Health is seeking a Patient Access Advocate (Part-time Days) to greet patients, register visits, verify insurance, and collect payments in a fast-paced ambulatory care setting. The role supports clinical staff and patient flow with a focus on service excellence.

The position requires strong customer service, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a healthcare environment; travel is local and occasional.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and demonstrated customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new technology and systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional manner in person and over the phone.
• Register new patients and accurately update demographic, insurance, and billing information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits and collect copays, deductibles, and payments.
• Facilitate patient flow by notifying clinical staff of arrivals, communicating delays, and keeping patients informed.
• Answer phones and route calls as needed; provide general information and directions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Perform clerical tasks including copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.
• Keep waiting areas and front desk clean, organized, and presentable.
• Assist with supply management and stocking as needed.
• Support patients and families with a friendly and reassuring approach.
