Job summary

LE0016 NJU MSO LLC is seeking a Patient Access Representative in New Jersey to greet patients, assist with check-in and check-out, and handle incoming calls professionally. This role requires accuracy in chart review and insurance verification to ensure the physician has all required information.

You will work in a medical office setting, interact with patients and staff, comply with HIPAA, and travel to other clinics as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma.
• One year of experience in a medical practice or health insurance organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• HIPAA confidentiality and compliance in daily tasks.
• Travel to other clinics as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Effectively handles the patient check-in/checkout process.
• Answers calls addressing appointment times, patient requests and general inquiries.
• Reviews patient’s chart for accuracy prior to upcoming appointment and ensures all required information is included for the physician to see the patient.
• Performs scanning and sorting within EMR system.
• Verifies and updates current insurance information with the Patient.
• Collects Patient payments.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
