Hanger Clinic in Westwood, MA is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to manage front desk operations, intake, and payments. You will ensure smooth patient flow, verify demographics and insurance, and support follow-up appointments and clinic services.

The role emphasizes strong communication, computer proficiency, and frontline patient experience, with a focus on accurate records and collaborative Revenue Cycle Interaction.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Less than one year of customer service or admin experience required.
• Receptionist/front office experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record per policy.
• Experience in medical front office procedures preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and assist patients at front desk, provide wait time info and inquiries.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance at check-in; walk-in registrations.
• Collect patient payments including deductibles, copays and coinsurance at front desk.
• Coordinate follow-up appointments for cast, measure, delivery and prosthetic care plans.
• Serve as liaison for clinic services and patient experience programs.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle Management to obtain necessary patient information.
• Maintain accurate and complete electronic health records for all patients.
