Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the electronic health record foundation for patient care.
• Register patients, verify demographics, insurance, and collect co-pays.
• Explain financial responsibilities and refer to Financial Advocates as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and related regulations.
• Greet patients, answer calls, schedule appointments, and assist with transportation or interpreter needs.
• Utilize EPIC EMR and other tools to manage patient information.
